History Made: Billionaire Boys Club x Hidden.NY

Updated: Nov 20, 2020

Teased for months and finally released on 11/15/20, the famous archive instagram page Hidden.NY breaks barriers and collaborates with streetwear giant Billionaire Boys Club.

On 11/15/20 history was made in the streetwear and fashion world, an instagram fashion curating and mood board account broke unknown barriers and collaborated with the streetwear giant Billionaire Boys Club founded by the modern renaissance man Pharrell Williams and streetwear godfather Nigo. This instagram page however is not some run of the mill archivist page but it is none other than the godfather of those pages and that page is Hidden.ny .

Hidden.ny started its instagram page back in 2018 and just started off posting pictures he truly liked he has now garnered almost 400,000 followers from the likes of Drake and Virgil Abloh. He has been making moves in the shadows ever since the accounts existence from limited clothing drops to working with well known artists he makes big waves in many sub cultures yet still remaining and ominous being that truly only a handful of people have seen or you could see him in everyday life and still never know. His love for Billionaire Boys Club and Pharrell Williams and Nigo has been seen since the beginning truly makes this drop that much more significant and sentimental as well, the hard work in the shadows has truly paid off and shows truly the possibilities are endless.

A never seen or thought of collaboration that needed to happen has finally come to fruition and has absolutely crushed expectations. From the raised print of the hidden logo on the classic Billionaire Boys Club designs to the quality of the items to the nods of the og Billionaire Boys Club pieces such as the flag tag and arch logo and even to the og sleeve tag he truly reinvented these with adding his phrase "past, present, future" on the tags and with the designs in the back of the shirts and hoodies as well. For a first time collaboration it was flawlessly executed in all aspects from the store to the clothes to the way it was marketed and teased as well.

I was fortunate enough to to be able to experience history first hand. Just the people who I met and the good times made this an unforgettable experience and it will be not only a staple in my photography journey but also the future of streetwear and fashion especially when in terms with brands collaborating with other curators as well. I cannot wait to see what the future will bring in this regard. As always this is for your viewing pleasure.
